Cyber Specialist

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, you will perform in-depth investigations, conducting vulnerability research and using reverse engineering to identify security vulnerabilities in software and embedded products.

▪ You will be responsible for conducting in-depth investigations of software and embedded hardware products to identify vulnerabilities.
▪ You will be in charge of examining the use of vulnerable libraries, insecure programming practices, and identifying security weaknesses.
▪ You will be essential in conducting both black-box and white-box analysis of software.
▪ You will create proof-of-concept code that support vulnerability analysis and illustrate potential risks.
▪ You will document results from investigations, ensuring a comprehensive handover.
▪ You will have the opportunity to be a part of project scoping both internally and externally.

 

YOUR PROFILE

▪ You have a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other IT-related areas.
▪ You have proven experience with reverse engineering C/C++, primarily on ARM, MIPS, x86, and 8-bit microcontrollers.
▪ You have a solid understanding of compiled code, how processes operate at runtime, and a strong knowledge of networking concepts.
▪ You have strong Linux skills and a thorough understanding of how drivers, kernel drivers, inter-process communication, Linux users, and permissions function.
▪ You have knowledge of binary protection methods as well as techniques for bypassing them.
▪ You are persistent, ambitious, and at the same time you have a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
▪ You take ownership of your tasks and responsibilities, just as you thrive on working independently.

You live within commuting distance of Aarhus, and you speak and write Danish and English fluently. You have a clean criminal record and you are a Danish citizen or you have lived in Denmark for at least the last 7 years
