Signal Processing Engineer

Do you want to work on complex solutions and designs, while working and learning about new tech? Chora is looking for an experienced Signal Processing Engineer to strengthen our engineering team at our headquaters in Aarhus.

 

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As Signal Processing Engineer you will join our experienced engineering team in developing advanced radio systems. You will specifically aid in developing signal processing algorithms for radio systems, with primary focus on devising, improving and ensuring the required functionality and performance.
You will take part in integrating and testing both in lab and field.
You will work in a highly agile team covering all of the product life-cycle, from early development to test at customer premises.
Typical tasks will be devising of multichannel signal processing for radio systems, algorithm simulation, description of algorithms for implementation and, implementation on CPUs in assembler/C/C++, GPUs in OpenCL, or FPGAs in VHDL/Verilog, and finally testing in real physical systems.


You will join our Solutions Group consisting of teams of passionate Project/Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Hardware Engineers.

  

YOUR PROFILE

It is essential that our new Signal Processing Engineer has sufficient professional experience in addition to the right personality. You have minimum 5 years of experience with signal processing within the domain of software and/or hardware development. You enjoy working closely with your colleagues as well as independently. Further, you can identify with most or all of the following:

▪ You have a Master or Ph.D. of Science in Engineering / Computer Science / Wireless Communication / Signal Processing /
   Electronic Engineering
▪ 
You have experience with signal processing algorithms design cycle
▪ You have experience with signal processing systems, performance and functionality

▪ 
You have knowledge of mathematical modelling, radio physics and/or telecommunications/SATCOM
▪ An exciting niche market with unique products
▪ You have experience with description of algorithms to be implemented and implementation of algorithms

▪ You have experience with implementation on CPUs in assembler/C/C++, GPUs in OpenCL, or FPGAs in VHDL/Verilog

You live within commuting distance of Aarhus, and you speak and write Danish and English at professional level. You have a clean criminal record and you are a Danish citizen or you have lived in Denmark for at least the last 7 years.
